According to the new round of urban development, Minhang district request to kthrough in the urban construction management by focusing on restructuring and enhancing functions This paper discusses the proper roles of water management in the future urban development, and disscessing the need of measures to promote rainwater management in the process of urban development to meet the best quality demands of the urban city.
