摘要
明代临洮宝塔寺是在元代萨迦派废刹基础上重建的藏传佛教寺院。其开山端竹领占早年入驻南京鸡鸣寺,从洪武到宣德数朝,为明朝边事边政效力甚多。生前受封大国师,死后又被追封为西天佛子、大敏法王。而其弟子门人则以北京大能仁寺为驻锡之所,与宫廷关系十分密切,颇得宠信,仅封为法王者就有4人之多,在驻京藏僧中地位十分显贵。以往研究中对明代临洮宝塔寺及其僧团甚少关注,许多史实也湮没无闻,本文依据明代《宝塔寺报恩传流碑》,并结合其它史料对该寺特别是端竹领占及其法嗣相关史实作为一考述。
The Lintao Pagoda Temple of Ming Dynasty was a Tibetan Buddhist monastery ,which was the reconstruction on the basis of the Sakya abolished an ancient temple in the Yuan Dynasty .The originator Duanzhu early settled in Nanjing Jimingsi ,did many effectiveness for the border political affairs from Hongwu to Xuande periods .During his lifetime he was appointed the Purohita ,after the death was made a West Buddha and Holiness .His disciples made the Beijing Great Nengren Temple as Long -term resi‐dence ,had a very close relationship with the court ,and were the grandees in all the monks .There was little attention in previous studies of the Ming Dynasty Lintao Pagoda Temple and its Sangha .This article based on that Pagoda Temple Gratitude Spread Monument ,made a research on relevant facts of the temple in combination with other historical data .
