Taking the library of Jinling College of Nanjing University as an example, this paper introduces the teaching status of literature retrieval course, analyzes the teaching mode of literature retrieval course of the library of independent college, and puts forward some ideas and countermeasures for improving the teaching level of literature retrieval course of the library of independent college.
