Singapore People's Action Party's Regulation on Mass Media and Its Implementation of Common Values

新加坡人民行动党对大众传媒进行有力的管制,其态度坚定开放,标准明确具体,手段丰富有效;1991年,人民行动党颁布了共同价值观。对大众传媒的管制与共同价值观的有效推行,两者互为手段,相互促进,共同价值观使对传媒的管制更加明确,对大众传媒的管制又增加了共同价值观践行的广度与深度。我国可借鉴新加坡对大众传媒的控制手段,以及它与共同价值观关系的处理与应用。

Singapore People’s Action Party takes good control of the mass media. The party has firm and open attitude, clear and specific standards, and the methods used are various and effective. In 1991, the People’s Action Party issued common values nationwide. The control of mass media and effective implementation of common values have helped each other forward, that is to say, the common values clarify the control over the media, and meanwhile, the regulation on mass media increases the breadth and depth of the practice of the common values. It is advisable for China to learn from Singapore their means of regulating mass media and their way of handling the relationship between it and the common values.
