试论思想政治教育与通识教育的关系

On the Relationship between Ideological and Political Education and General Education

通识教育是高等教育阶段中十分重要的素质教育,就是对高校全体学生进行的一种基础性语言、文化知识的教育以及学生个性培养。高校思想政治教育实际上是一种面对学生进行的马克思主义理论教育,是对大学生进行思想政治教育的主要方式。思想政治教育与通识教育虽然属于不同体系的教育。但通识教育与思想政治教育在教育理念、教育方式以及教育内容等方面具有相同之处。正确认识与处理思想政治教育与通识教育之间的关联,对我国高校思想政治教育以及通识教育等都具有十分重要的影响作用。

General education is a very important quality education in the stage of higher educa- tion; it consists of the education of a basic language and cultural knowledge for all students in university and the cultivation of students＂ individuality. Ideological and political education, in fact, is a Marxism theory education for students, is the main way of ideological and political education for college students. Although ideological and political education and general educa- tion belong to different system of education, they have some similarities in education concept, education method and education content and so on. It has very important impact on higher edu- cation ideological and political education and general education in China if we can understand and deal with the relationship between them correctly.
