By the reference of modern metaphor theories, the paper analyzes the subject’s relevance of Xiaozhuan and other abstract conceptions and the conversion of the concept of metaphorical object. It is concluded that Xiaozhuan has the historical metaphor, cultural metaphor, elite metaphor and authority metaphor. All of them are significant to contribute to the implicit value of Xiaozhuan in the contemporary era and expand it aesthetic dimension. Meanwhile, it is veriifed that the metaphor function of Xiaozhuan can also deepen people’s experience feelings of arts both in profoundness and clarity in the speculation.
