中日甲午战争过去120多年了，但这场战争所造成的影响仍然没有完全消弭，尤其是对冷战后的东北亚国际关系存在种种影响因素。处理中日关系要“以史为鉴，面向未来”，为此需要我们了解甲午战争究竟如何影响了东北亚国际关系格局和中日两国的国际地位，以及至今还存在哪些历史遗留问题，在此基础上积极寻找解决历史问题的有效办法。以便最终实现超越历史，构建永久和平。

Sino -Japanese War was past 120 years, but the impact caused by the war has still not completely eliminated, especially to the presence of various factors on international relations in Northeast Asia after the Cold War. Handing Sino -Japanese relations need to follow the norm of ＂ learning from history and facing the future＂ , for which we need to understand exactly how the Sino - Japanese War affect on international relations of Northeast Asia and international status of China and Japan, as well as historical issues which still exist, on this basis, active- ly seek effective ways to resolve historical issues, in order to ultimately transcend history, to build a lasting peace.
