The Mission of Philosophy in Modern Times —— Why do We Need Philosophy Today?

曾经有人宣告,哲学已经终结,在今天,已经没有必要再去谈论哲学。哲学真的终结了吗?在现时代,哲学已经完全丧失其存在的价值了吗?当然没有。那种"哲学终结论"是在一个特殊时代,从一个特殊角度审视哲学的错觉。实际上,今天的哲学仍然具有它独特的历史使命,它可以在我们同现实世界的关系中奠定一个基础性框架,从而在根本上改变我们的现实生活。

Philosophy was once declared to come to a close. And do we really have no need to talk about philosophy today? Philosophy has really ended? Has philosophy completely lost its value of existence in the modern era ? Of course not. That philosophical say-so is of some illusory nature at a special time and from a special perspective. In fact, philosophy today still has its unique historical mission. It does some foundation work in our relations with the real world and thereby fundamentally changes our real life.
