《美国教育部2012-2016国际战略》的出台标志着美国国际教育步入一个新的历史阶段。《战略》详细描绘了美国2012—2016年国际教育的愿景,并在此基础上建构了层次清晰的战略目标体系,反映出今后一段时间美国国际教育政策的基本走向:一是教育先行,凸显教育服务于国家利益的基本理念;二是标准引领,强调以优质标准培养公民的全球素养;三是兼取众长,倡导以积极的教育外交加强国际合作;四是系统谋划,主张以整体协调的方式推进国际教育。

The announcement of ＂U.S. Department of Education International Strategy 2012-16＂marked the U.S. international education forward into a new historical period. This strategy describes the vision of American interna- tional education from 2012 to 2016detailedly and constructs a stratified strategic target system based on the vision, which refects some new trends of the U.S. international education policy in the future：Firstly, education in advance, the fundamental philosophy that education＇s severing the national interest will be highlighted; Secondly,Standard leading, cultivating citizen＇s global competencies by the high quality standards will be stressed;Thirdly, learning the strong points of others, enhancing international cooperation through Fourthly, system planning, promoting international education in an int active education diplomacy will be advocated; egrated and coordinated manner will be adopted.
