How to improve the quality of oral English teaching has been the focus of English teaching reform. This paper analyzes the current situation of college English teaching, introduces the immersion program from Canada and describes how to draw lesson from it to carry on the reform of oral English classroom teaching for international business majors at higher vocational college.
