Differences Between Confucius and Menci's Literary Aesthetics Thoughts

孔孟同属一思想系统无疑。但由于时代的激变、人生历程的不同以及性格之间的差异,他们对宇宙、社会、人生和文艺的看法又存在着各种差异性。因此,作为两个不同时代的思想大家,他们之间的关系远比我们想象中的要复杂得多。文章拟从文艺思想的角度来对孔子和孟子进行比较,侧重考察他们在文艺思想的源头、功能、着眼点和审美理想等各个方面的继承、发展的关系及其原因,以期能一窥他们之间的思想发展脉络。

There is no doubt that Confucius and Menci belong to the same thought system. Due to the different ages, life courses and character, their perceptions of the universe, society, life and literature are different from each other. Therefore, the relationship between these two great thinkers are much more complicated. From the perspective of literary thoughts, it made a comparison on some related issues on the source, function, a point of view and aesthetic ideal, to find out the idea development vein of these two great thinkers.
