Travel characteristics of passenger Departing from Shanghai during the Spring Festival Transport Season are analyzed, including travel mode structure, passenger transport volume and spatial distribution of intercity transport, travel time of intracity transport, and waiting time in the waiting hall. Then some suggestions of improving the transportation services are stated, which aim at transport capacity rearrangement, coordination of the intercity and intracity transport, building ticket platform and information platform, avoidin~ travel 13eak, and better waiting circumstances.
