Study on Design of Closed Structure for Catwalk on Arch Dam

拱坝的坝后桥作为巡视人员的便捷通道,在以往的设计中均未考虑采用封闭结构,致使在雨雪冰冻恶劣天气的影响下,坝后桥的正常通行受到了影响。因此,需要对坝后桥加装封闭结构建筑,以保证巡视工作的正常进行。以拉西瓦水电站为例,介绍了坝后桥封闭结构方案的设计,为今后类似工程的设计提供了经验。

As a convenient access for inspectors , the catwalk of arch dam in previous design is never considered to apply the closed struc-ture.Therefore, the normal pass on the catwalk is affected in poor weather condition such as in raining, snowing and freezing days.To secure the normal inspecting operation, additional closed structure is required to build to the catwalk.With case of Laxiwa Hydropower Station, the design of the closed structure for the catwalk is introduced so as to provide the design of similar works with reference.
