聚丙烯纤维红黏土无侧限抗压强度试验研究 被引量:31

摘要 通过无侧限抗压强度试验,研究聚丙烯纤维对红黏土无侧限抗压强度的影响规律。试验结果表明,在红黏土中掺入一定量的聚丙烯纤维,可以明显地提高其无侧限抗压强度,聚丙烯纤维土的无侧限抗压强度是素土的1.18~2.54倍;聚丙烯纤维土的无侧限抗压强度随着纤维含量和纤维长度的增加而增大。纤维能提高红黏土的残余强度,增强了土体的破坏韧性,使破坏模式由脆性破坏向塑性破坏转变;纤维在土体中形成了空间网状结构,约束了土体的变形,提高了土体的整体性。本文的研究成果对聚丙烯纤维红黏土作为路基填土材料的工程应用提供了试验数据和理论依据。 To study the effect of blending polypropylene fiber on the red clay,a series of samples were prepared and subjected to the unconfined compressive strength (UCS)test.The results indicate that mixing with a certain amount of fiber can significantly increase the strength of red clay.The UCS of polypropylene fiber reinforced red clay is obvious higher than that without fiber,and the rate of enhancement is between1.18 to 2.54 times.The UCS increases significantly with the increase of fiber content and fiber length.Fiber can also improve the residual strength of red clay,strengthen the destruction of the soil resilience,which changes the failure mode from brittle to plastic.Besides a spatial network structure formed from polypropylene and particles improves integrity and lim-its deformation of the red soil.The result provides test data and theoretical basis for the practical application of engineering when polypropylene fiber reinforced red clay is the filling material.
