Experience summary of tension- free inguinal hernia repair under local anaesthesia

目的比较改良Kugel疝修补术与Lichtenstein疝修补术,探讨在基层医院更适合的疝修补方法。方法回顾性分析2007年9月至2014年6月,枣庄市薛城区人民医院收治的腹股沟疝患者410例,根据患者采用的手术方式分为对照组190例和观察组220例。观察组给予改良Kugel疝修补术,对照组采用Lichtenstein疝修补术。对比分析二组患者的手术时间、住院时间、切口感染、恢复日常活动(或工作)的时间及复发率。结果二组患者在手术时间、住院时间、切口感染、恢复日常活动(或工作)时间方面差异无统计学意义,对照组复发率高于观察组,差异有统计学意义。结论改良Kugel疝修补术是治疗腹股沟疝的理想手术方式,适合在基层医院开展。

Objective To compare modified Kugel hernia repair and Lichtenstein hernia repair,and explore which hernia repair method is more suitable for primary hospital. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 410 cases of inguinal hernia from September 2007 to June 2014 in Xuecheng District People＇s Hospital. Patients were divided into observation group（ 220 cases of modified Kugel repair） and control group（ 190 cases of Lichtenstein repair）. Operative time,hospital stay,wound infection,recovery time of daily activities（ or working） and recurrence rate were compared in both groups. Results There were no statistically significant difference in operative time,hospital stay,wound infection and recovery time between two groups. While,the recurrence rate in control group was higher than observation group,the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion Modified Kugel hernia repair is an ideal surgical approach in the treatment of inguinal hernia,which should be promoted in the primary hospital.
