摘要
为了准确揭示接触式机械密封摩擦端面的真实接触状态,基于三维分形表面的W-M函数描述软质环密封端面的粗糙行为.通过Mathematica软件生成的粗糙表面数据点,在ANSYS中进行粗糙表面实体的建模以及接触有限元分析.得到在外载荷作用下的真实接触面积,与M-B分形接触模型进行比较,变化趋势吻合较好.研究结果表明,随着外载荷的增加,真实接触面积呈非线性增加.该研究方法为进一步研究机械密封摩擦端面的摩擦热、磨损以及接触间隙等问题提供了新途径.
In order to accurately reveal the real contact state of friction end-face in contacting mechanical seals,W-M function of three-dimensional fractal surfaces was applied to describe rough behavior of sealing end-faces of soft sealing ring.The rough surface entity was modeled with software ANSYS and surface roughness data points generated with software Mathematica.Finite element analysis of the contact was conducted in the same way as above mentioned.The real contact area thus obtained under action of external load was compared to that obtained with M-B fractal contact model and it was found that the area variation with load was well agreeable to each other.It was shown by research result that the real contact area would increase nonlinearly with the external load.This research method would provide a new approach for further study of problems such as friction,wear,and contact gap of mechanical sealing end-face.
