摘要
教师的工资水平是吸引优秀人才从教、留住优秀教师的关键因素,又是教师职业吸引力和教师社会地位的象征。OECD的调查数据显示,各发达国家公立学校教师的绝对工资和相对工资普遍不高,各国正在探索并实施新的教师激励机制,为教师提供额外薪酬,以提高教师的工资水平。这些措施有效缓解了教师短缺,并在吸引和留住优秀教师、提高落后地区和薄弱学校教师质量方面发挥了重要作用。
Teacher's Salary is a key factor in attracting the excellent graduates to teach, retaining excellent teachers, and also the symbol of attractiveness of teaching profession and its social status. According to the data from OECD, teachers are not well-paid around the world, both absolute and relative salary are lower than those in other industr/es with the same education background. In recent years, the developed countries offer teachers ad- ditional payments in the public institutions, based on teaching condition and responsibility, teacher's qualifications, training and performance, and demography as well, which have alleviated the problem of teacher shortage, and played important role in attracting and retaining excellent teachers in the disadvantaged schools, which set examples for us.
