School transfer has been paid attention for a long time in America and there are a lot of studies conducted on the impact of school transfer. Based on the review of current studies on this issue, this article analyzes the impact of school transfer and how to release the negative effects of school transfer. Reviewing the studies in America can help raise further attention on transient students, make in-depth research on student mobility, in addition to offer reference and suggestion to policy making related to school transfer in China.
