“大日本”情结的内在思想理路

On the Line of Thought of Dai Nippon Complex

"大日本"情结的思想内涵主要包含两个方面:一是对传统日本或"神国"日本表示由衷赞美并为此醉心的国粹主义或曰日本主义;二是对日本在近代文明的进程上获得的独特的进步感到兴奋和自豪的文明论或文明扩张主义。初看这两种思想似乎有些互相乖离,事实上这是一个事物的两个侧面,它强调的都是日本与众不同的先进性。明治以后日本的扩张行为以及近来安倍政权的一系列强势举动,都是"大日本"情结的具体体现。

The ideological connotation of Dai Nippon（Greater Japan）complex consists of two main aspects.The first one is the ethnic chauvinism（nationalism）or Japonism based on the heartfelt appreciation and infatuation of traditional Japan or the Divine Lands of Japan（shinkoku）.The second is the civilization theory or cultural expansionism rooted in the stimulation by and pride of the unique progress Japan has achieved in modern civilization.Diverged as the two thoughts may appear ostensibly,they are two sides of the same coin in essence,which emphasizes the distinctive superiority of Japan.Japan＇s expansionist behavior after Meiji period and even the recent series of aggressive actions by the Abe administration are actually all the manifestations of Dai Nippon complex in different historical periods.
