发展新型煤化工,机遇与挑战并存,进步与困难同在。作为世界第二大经济体、少油富煤、处于工业化关键期的中国,必须加快发展新型煤化工这一重要基础产业,但要做到产业发展与生态建设并行不悖,使新型煤化工成为发展经济、造福人民的现代化先进产业。

There are many opportunities, challenges, progresses and difficulties in the development of China＇s modem coal chemical industry. As the world＇s second largest economy, China is in the critical period of industrialization. But due to the lack of oil and rich in coal resources, it is a must for China to accelerate the development of modern chemical industry which is the basic and important industry in China. The coal chemical industry development should proceed in parallel with ecological construction, so as to become a modem and advanced industry for national economy and beneficial to our people.
