Teaching British Romantic Literature Against the Background of Modernity

英国浪漫主义文学是在法国大革命和工业革命两大现代性事件的背景下发生的。英国浪漫主义诗人在工业化进程中体现的生态思想以及他们对现代化进程中人类的精神状况的思考,是教学中需要重点讲授的问题。引导学生思索这些问题,不仅具有学术意义,还具有现实意义。

British Romantic literature appeared in the context of two modern events, namely, the French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution. The British romantic poets＇ ecological idea toward the French Revolution, together with their thinking about the human spiritual state in the process of modernization, is an important part in teaching. Guiding students to discuss these issues is of both academic and practical significance.
