“感觉”与“感觉”的张力——徐訏晚期诗作解读

Hsu Yu, though long been famous for his title as a novelist, has actually written quite a number of poems, which more directly reveal Hsu Yu＇s state of mind, and presents real and profound themes and thoughts. His late poems are even more filled with a sense of aged wisdom and sophistication after the poet has experienced the vicissitudes of life. The late poems of Hsu Yu deal with a wide range of themes, and contain a variety of spiritual dimensions, demonstrating the poet＇s self-conscious pursuit of the reality of ＂sensibility＂. ＂Sensibility＂ springs from real life in its normal state, and is different from any utilitarian political and literary claims. The mixture of ＂sensibilities＂ also forms the tension between ＂expression＂and ＂latent expression＂, and manifests the sophisticated and profound ＂spiritual life＂ of the poet.
