Guo＇s translation practice can be spotted from his translation works English Poem and Faust; and Guo＇s translation theory can be best investigated from Luo Xinzhang＇s work A Collection on Translation Theories and Fang Keping＇s work Upstream Striving Towards Beauty： From Critical Theory to Literary Translation. After investigating into Guo＇s translation practice and theory, it can be found that Guo＇s ＂creation theory＂ bears a deep root among translation theories; nevertheless, it doesn＇t present us a perfect criterion for the dimensions of creation in translation.
