跨学科方法是当代科学的重要特征,医疗社会史在历史学与其他学科对话中产生。作为跨学科的产物,医疗社会史从政治学、文化史、经济学等视角探讨了中国近现代历史上的疾病现象和医疗活动。在中国近现代史研究中,医疗社会史以跨学科的研究方法,拓宽了研究领域,扩大了史料范围,创新了研究方法。

Interdisciplinary method is an important characteristic of contemporary science, medical and social histo-ry has come into being during the interaction of history with other disciplines. As a product of interdisciplinary, themedical and social history discusses the diseases and medical activities in China＇s modem history from the perspec-tive of political science, cultural history and economics. In this research, the medical and social history has broad-ened its research field, expanded the scope of historical data and brought forth new research methods.
