南雄珠玑巷是中华民族拓展南疆的一个中转地,也是众多广东人祖先的发祥地。珠玑巷博物馆设计方案力图打造一个向世界展示宗族文化和海上丝绸之路文化的重要窗口,体现出南雄姓氏文化与非物质文化遗产的独特魅力,创造一个文化的、创新的、厚重的、科技的、人性化的文化空间,博物馆竣工后将肩负保护、展示、研究、收藏、传承南雄传统姓氏文化的重任,成为"中华姓氏文化第一馆"。

Zhuji Lane in Nanxiong, the transit area when the Chinese expanded area to the south, is the birthplace of many Cantonese ancestors. By making great efforts to open a significant window for exhibiting the clan culture and the culture of maritime Silk Road to the world, Zhuji Lane Museum reflects the special charm of surname culture of Nanxiong and the intangible culture, creating a cultural, innovative, rich, technical, humanistic culture space. After its completion, the museum will be responsible for protecting, exhibiting, investigating, collecting and inheriting the traditional surname culture of Nanxiong, becoming the ＂First Museum of Surname Culture in China.＂
