受自身技术限制,TD-LTE覆盖范围明显小于FDD,为保证网络覆盖并充分有效利用频谱资源,小型化基站将成为TDD系统应对上述问题的有效手段。另一方面,PON技术承载小型化基站可有效解决网络覆盖中的盲点,今后伴随NG-PON2的发展可有效实现移动通信数据分流。

Due to technical limitations, the coverage of TD-LTE is lower than that of FDD. In order to ensure network coverage and make full use of spectrum resources, Small Cell is an effective solution to solve the above problem. In addition, PON as the backhaul network can effectively carry Small Cell. The next generation of PON, NG-PON2, will play an important role of mobile service distribution.
