Chinese traditional culture is the source of socialist core values. It contains educational re- sources of ideology, which presents the unique and special characteristics of education function. The connotation of cultural spirit and the socialist core values are closely linked. Colleges and universi- ties as the base of cultural heritage and personnel training have responsibility to spread our great cul- ture to the young generation, cultivate an awareness of conscience, and shape healthy, integrated and various individual personalities so as to improve college students＇ socialist core values y in an all-round way.
