摘要
郭秉文是近代中国著名的教育改革家,在出国留学、自我反思和教育实践过程中,其师范教育思想逐渐形成。他主张加强师范教育培养充足的合格教师,以促进中国的教育普及;提倡高等师范教育,培养中学教师;首创"寓师范于大学"的师资培养模式。他执掌南京高等师范学校期间,确立了三育并举的办学宗旨,依据社会需要设置科目,实行男女同校,对南京高等师范学校进行了一系列教学改革。其教育思想和实践在中国教育史上有着重要的意义,其开拓进取的革新精神更是值得后人学习。
Guo Bing‐wen is a famous modern Chinese educationaI reformer . In his stage of studying abroad , seIf‐refIection and practice in education , teacher education ideoIogy was graduaIIy evoIved . He advocated strengthening teacher education to train enough quaIified teachers , thus then promoting universaI education in China ;he promoted higher normaI education and the training of secondary schooI teachers ;he initiated the teachers’ training modeI of“bIending teacher education in university” .During his heIm of Nanjing Higher NormaI SchooI ,he estabIished the mission of three‐dimensionaI education ,set subjects according to sociaI needs ,impIemented coeducation ,and conducted a series of teaching reforms in Nanjing Higher NormaI SchooI . His thinking and practice of normaI education in China has an important significance in the history of education ,and his pioneering spirit of innovation is worthy of future study .
