This paper takes the contemporary writer Wang Huiqi ＇s prose poetry and theoretical criticism as the research object,and gives a discussion by using the method of ＂under standing of human beings and comments on human affairs＂. Then it analyses the ideological content and artistic styles from immediacy and diachronism,pointing out the artistic features of her prose-＂backed by reality,directly hit on the inner heart＂. Moreover,it explores how to assess the significance of Wang Huiqi ＇s review of prose poetry,thus considering the essential characteristics of her prose poetry,especially the understanding of her techniques and aesthetic character.
