It is difficult to treat piggery biogas slurry due to its high concentrations of nitrogen, phosphorus and organic matter, low C/N ratio and imbalance of carbon/nitrogen ratio. The biological contact oxidation/sequencing batch biofilm reactor (BCO-SBBR) system was used, ChloreUa was cultured in piggery biogas slurry, and the treatment effect of piggery biogas slurry was investigated. The results showed that when the influent concentrations of COD, NH4^+ - N, TN and TP were 1 926 mg/L, 878.24 mg/L, 895.06 mg/L and 91.05 mg/L, respectively, the corresponding effluent concentrations were 1 194 mg/L, 239 mg/L, 241.27 mg/L and 33.67 mg/L, respectively, and the removal rates were 38%, 72.8%, 73% and 63%, respectively. As a result, the C/N ratio of the treated wastewater was increased to 5, which was more suitable for microbial growth and advantageous to improve the efficiency of the subsequent biological treatment facilities.
