摘要
针对传统光栅式立体所带来的分辨率下降以及亮度低的问题,提出一种采用新型指向性背光结构的基于时分原理实现的头跟踪式无辅助自由立体显示方法.整个系统包括指向性背光模组、人眼跟踪模块、可寻址LED阵列、控制模块和普通LCD显示屏.指向性背光结构可在人眼跟踪模块以及背光控制模块的协同作用下,分时产生指向出瞳,同时采用刷新率为120Hz的高清分辨率液晶显示器作为显示设备,分时显示具有视差的立体图像对,从而让观看者左眼只看到左图像,右眼只看到右图像,最终经大脑融合形成立体效果.与现有方法相比,本系统无分辨率损失,可供多用户观看,可达到1920×1080的分辨率效果,且2D和3D模式兼容,整个系统结构厚度只有18cm.
In terms of low resolution and low brightness that existed in available 3D displayers, an autostereoscopic display method using head-tracked technique based on time-sequential principle with a special directional backlight structure was introduced in this article. The whole system consisted of five main parts: the directional backlight, the multi-user eye tracker, the steerable light-emitting diode array, the controller and the direct-view liquid crystal display (LCD). The directional backlight generated directional exit pupils time-sequentially with the coordination of the eye tracker and the controller. At the same time, it employed a LCD screen which was available to run at a frequency of 120 Hz as the displayer to provide parallax images, so that the left eye of the viewer would only see the corresponding left picture and the right eye of the viewer would only see the corresponding right picture, then a 3D vision would be created by the brain. Compared to current realization methods, the proposed system has no resolution loss and is avaliable for multiple users with a full resolution of 1920 * 1080. What' s more this system is compatible for both 2D and 3D modes and is much thinner with a width of 18 cm.
