摘要
戏剧是一种特殊的文学艺术形式,具有双重属性,即文学性和可表演性。戏剧的"可表演性"决定了戏剧译本的受众不仅包括一般意义上的读者,还包括导演、演员和观众。基于戏剧的"可表演性"特征,戏剧语言具有口语化、简洁性、个性化、动作化特点。"可表演性"要求在戏剧翻译过程中使用文化因素的归化翻译策略,采用替换法、显化法和隐化法3种翻译方法。
Drama, as a special literary art form, bears dual attribute, that is, literariness and perform- ability. It is performability that leads drama translation to a special field. The target receivers of drama translation version should not only include conventional readers, but also directors, actors and audience. In terms of the performability of drama, its language should be characteristic of colloquialism, simplicity, personalization and action. This paper discusses the special requirements posed by performability in drama translation and the domesticating translation strategy towards cultural elements in drama. Since there are many ways to realize domesticating translation strategy, only three of them which are commonly used in cultural translation in drama are analyzed here with case study.
