针对辽宁省玉米育种工作存在体制问题、人才问题、科研投入不足、资源问题、育种思路与技术路线问题,提出五点改进措施,即利用国家政策扶持、加大科研投入力度、调整科研思路、加快品种资源引进等,加快新品种选育,提升市场竞争能力。

Aiming to the maize breeding problems of system issues, people issues, technology investment, resources, ideas and breeding lines, a five-point-improvement measure of national policy supporting, research investment increasing, research ideas adjusting and resources introducing were provided. It would accelerate the new varieties breeding and improve the market competitiveness.
