The working principle of GPS combined with GPRS data acquisition method of landslide deformation was introduced. In Dujiangyan City,Sichuan Province TA Zi Ping landslide as an example,the feasibility of landslide monitoring is verified combined with field observation data. By contrast with common methods,the advantages of GPS in combination with GPRS method were expounded. The practice proved that,the method of strong timeliness,high monitoring precision,high efficiency,and is very suitable for landslide monitoring.
