摘要
旅游文本最重要的两项功能是信息性和呼唤性,信息性是前提,呼唤性是最终目的。旅游文本的翻译应以读者为中心,确保交际的成功,同时又要充分传递旅游资料中涉及的文化内涵。针对不同的文本类型和语言功能,纽马克提出了两种不同的翻译策略,即语义翻译和交际翻译。本文将以交际翻译理论为指导,探讨中文旅游文本的翻译策略。
The most important functions of tourism texts are informative and operative. Informative function is the premise, and operative function is final goal. The translation of tourism texts should lay the reader in the central position to ensure the success of communication. Meanwhile, the culture in the texts must be transferred. Based on the different text types and linguistic functions, Newmark put forward two principles for translation: semantic translation and communicative translation theory. This paper aims at illustrating the translation strategies of Chinese Tourism texts under the guidance of Newmark's communicative translation theory.
