历史虚无主义思潮是迎合西方国家对我国的和平演变战略以及国内反社会主义势力的现实需要,以历史唯心主义为立论基础,以否定和虚无我国近现代历史为主要手段而泛起的一股反马克思主义政治思潮。其突出表现是:否定中国近现代历史,鼓吹"告别革命";借"重新评价"五四运动,抹杀五四运动在中国近代历史上救亡图存的重要作用;否定社会主义改造,否定改革开放前中国共产党领导的社会主义建设;攻击马克思主义是"历史虚无主义",否定马克思主义在意识形态领域的指导地位等。必须清醒把握历史虚无主义思潮反马克思主义、反社会主义的精神实质和危害,旗帜鲜明地批判和清除历史虚无主义的影响。

Historical nihilist trend is realistic response with the strategy of peaceful evolution against China launched by western countries and contra-socialist force at home based on historical idealism as argument, negating and nullifying early modern Chinese history as a main tool and coming up with a gust of contra-Marxist political movement. It is typified by negating Chinese early modern history,preaching＂goodbye to revolution＂,takeing advantage of＂reassessment＂for＂May 4th＂movement to obliterate an important role played in saving a nation in early modern Chinese history,denying socialist reform,socialist construction led by the Communist Party of China before the reform and opening; attacking Marxism as ＂historical nihilism＂and negating the dominant position of Marxism in the field of ideology. We must have a clear idea about historical nihilist trend, the spiritual essence and harm of contra-Marxism and socialism,taking a clear-cut stand in criticising and clearing historical nihilism.
