社会经济网络视域下的当代翻译研究

Translation Studies from the Perspective of the Socio-Economic Network

翻译作为社会化的活动,并非是译者孤立的行为。社会经济网络的分析框架将当代译入语社会中政府权力部门、出版机构、赞助人、专业评论家、最终读者以及译者等行为体的社会化活动纳入到统一的社会大系统中进行综合考察。本论文依据该网络运行中具有的权力分配不均衡的现实和相互依存的特性,就其内部的生存形态,以及行为体间基于翻译规范的有效协调机制开展研究。

Today translation is a socialized activity, not confined to translators＇ personal choices. The Socio-Economic Network approach sets up an analytical framework incorporating major social agents that play roles in the target language social system, i.e. governmental authorities, publishers, all types of patrons, professional reviewers, readers and translators. This paper, based on the Network＇ s hierarchical power structure and interdependence among its agents, deals with its ecosystem and norms-based coordination mechanism.
