新中国在六十多年特别是最近三十多年的发展历程中,以国内各项建设事业的发展进步为基础,在国际舞台上愈加展现出一个独立自主的形象,一个平等和睦的形象,一个开放包容的形象,一个合作互惠的形象,一个担当道义的形象,捍卫了国家的主权尊严、安全和发展利益,为维护世界和平、促进共同发展作出了重要贡献。

New China,in the course of its over 60- year development,especially in the past 30 years,has demonstrated itself,on the basis of its overall progress in various domestic undertakings,an image that is increasingly independent,equal and harmonious,open and inclusive,and willing to cooperate and gain mutual benefits,assume moral duties and responsibilities,in the international arena. It has defended the state,s sovereignty and dignity,protected its security and interest for development,and made major contribution to maintaining world peace and promoting common development.
