The Origin and Evolution of the CPC's US Policy during the Revolutionary Times(1921-1947)

中共对美政策起源可以追溯到中共成立初期。1936年初中共提出争取与美国建立反日统一战线,这是中共第一个具有实际意义的对美政策。太平洋战争爆发后,在美国支持中国抗战的战时对华政策背景下,中共采取了争取同美国建立友好合作的政策。1944年下半年,美国对华政策的重点从战时转向战后,中共对美政策也随之调整,转为防止美国支持国民党发动内战和武装干涉中国内政、防止美国变中国为殖民地。1946年初随着国共内战全面升级,中共对美政策也渐趋激烈,开始全面反对美国帝国主义。

The CPC,s US policy can date back to the early years since its founding. In early 1936,the Party proposed that an anti- Japanese united front with the US be established,which is the Party,s first realistic and significant US policy. After the breakout of the Pacific War,in the context of US,supportive China policy,the Party adopted a policy that strived to establish friendly cooperative relations with the US. In the second half of 1944,as the US shifted the focus of its China policy from wartime to postwar time,the CPC adjusted its US policy accordingly,focusing on preventing US from supporting the Kuomintang in launching a civil war,guarding against its military interference into China,s internal affairs and its intention to change China into its colony,and thus began to go completely against American imperialism.
