村民小组长的中人角色何以可能——以黔东北一村民组为例

How can Villager Group Leaders Play the Role of Middlemen?——Take a Villager Group in Northeastern Guizhou as an Example

村民小组的和谐发展与小组长的中人角色紧密相连。既往的理论从实然性和应然性两个维度探讨了村干部角色的定位及其价值,却缺乏对村民小组长的角色分析。通过对黔东北一村民组的调查发现,村民小组长在民间事务中扮演着受邀做中和自主做中的双重角色,并尽可能地遵循调解、习俗和谨慎等原则应对相关问题。村民小组长的做中行为凸显了农村社会秩序的权威,揭示了农村传统习俗的现代影响,但在社会变迁的进程中,小组长的行为逻辑也需要有所调适才利于更好地引导民间纠纷。

Village harmonious development is closely related to villager group leaders.The previous theories presented the positions and values of villager cadres from two dimensions of what they are and what they ought to be.But analysis on the role of group leaders is rare.Through an investigation in a village in Northeastern Guizhou,we found that villager group leaders played dual roles of being invited to be and volunteering to be middlemen in civil affairs and followed the principles of mediation,customs and cautiousness to deal with related issues.The middleman behavior of villager group leaders highlights the authority and reveals the influence of traditional customs in modern villages.In the process of social development,behavior logic of villager group leaders also needs to adjust for better guiding how to deal with civil disputes.
