Discussion on Culture Teaching and the Cultivation of Intercultural Communication Competence

文化教学对培养学生跨文化交际能力的重要性和必要性已形成共识,文化教学应融入语言教学,文化教学内容应侧重交际文化,教师应自觉提高自身跨文化意识和能力,接受系统的跨文化培训和教育,发展学生的技能、态度和对价值观的判断能力。课程安排上注重交际文化方面的教材选择和课程设计,并采用角色扮演、知识讲座、多媒体技术等手段以丰富文化教学活动的开展。

Cultural teaching is very important and necessary for cultivating students＇ intercultural communication competence which has been recognized by people. Cultural teaching is supposed to be integrated into language teaching,and the teaching contents should focus on social cultures. Teachers should improve their own intercultural awareness and abilities, take the intercultural training and education of system, and develop the students＇ skills, attitudes and abilities of judgments on different values. The curriculum should focus on the selections of teaching materials and course designs of communication cultures, and utilize various ways, such as role play, lectures, multimedia technology, etc. to enrich the cultural teaching activities.
