湖北仙桃方言的重叠现象

On the Reduplication of Xiantao Dialect in Hubei Province

仙桃方言的重叠现象非常普遍,不仅有构词的重叠,也有构形的重叠,其中构形重叠会产生新的语法意义,是重要的语法手段之一。本文主要从构形重叠入手,介绍了仙桃方言中名词、动词、形容词和量词的基本重叠格式;描写带特殊词缀的重叠式及嵌字格重叠式。

Reduplication is a very common linguistic phenomenon in Xiantao dialect. There are reduplication of word-formation and structure-formation. Structure-formation reduplication is an important grammatical device as it generates new grammatical meanings. In this paper the structure-formation reduplication is mainly discussed. The basic reduplication formats of nouns, verbs, adjectives and quantifiers are introduced and the reduplications with special affix and word-embedding are also described.
