陈思和是中国现当代文学研究中具有影响力的文学史家和文学批评家,他的学术主张与实践具有内在的统一性和连贯性。"民间"是他建构文学史的一个立场,通过不断对"民间"理论的挖掘、探讨和实践,使其形成了独特的文学史视角,观照了中国现代文学的发展以及知识分子的起伏命运,同时还为知识分子精神文化传统的建立指出了一个文化空间。这一系列的研究、实践使文学史极大地丰富起来,不少被遮蔽的现象也浮出水面。

Professor Chen Sihe is an influential literary historian and literary critic in China modern and contemporary literature researches. Combined with the practices of Professor Chen Sihe’s academic road, it will find the inherent unity and coherence in his academic practices. ＂Folk＂ has become a position of Chen Sihe’s construction of literary history. He formed a unique perspective of literary history as he constantly excavated, investigated and practiced on the ＂folk＂ theory. He took care of the development of modern Chinese literature and the ups and downs of intellectuals’ fate. And he pointed a cultural space to the intellectuals’ spiritual and cultural traditions of the establishment. This series of studies amd practices so greatly enriched the history of literature. It also made a lot of shadowed phenomena being surfaced.
