《论语新解》是钱穆先生在学术盛年时期著成的一部重要著作,该书虽定位为"通俗本",前后却花去了钱穆十余年的时间,是探究钱穆治学态度的重要样本。"温情与敬意"是钱穆的文化态度,是其治学中最不能忽视的特点。或许不能纯粹从学理来看其论说的是非,因为这是他对中国文化的态度与信仰。与同时代学人相比,这也是他一生的坚持。

Although regarded as a common one, New Explanation on the Analects of Confucius took Mr. Qian Mu over ten years to study and research. As an important work in his academic peak, it is a crucial sample to explore how Mr. Qian Mu pursued his studies. ＂Warmth and respect＂ is his scholarship feature, which can not be ignored in his scholar research. Since it is his attitude and belief towards Chinese culture, we can not judge his research with the scientific principle. Meanwhile, it is his lifetime insistence comparing with contemporary scholars.
