Analysis on the Concept of Ming in Zhang Zai's Philosophy

张载依据《易传》建立起自己的哲学体系。张载哲学关于"名"的观念也是对于《易传》中"名"等相关概念和命题的继承和发展。以"先识造化"为宗旨,张载繁复的哲学概念之间实具有内在的贯通性。"名"在张载哲学具体语境中具有不同的指称和意蕴。更重要的是,特定语境中"名"与其它概念尤其是"象"、"意"、"道"的内在关系的清晰揭示,有助于对张载基础理论命题,尤其是其形而上学的丰富内涵的正确理解。

Zhangzai established his own philosophy system on the basis of Yi Zhuan. His theory about Mingcan be described as succeeding and development from the theory about Ming in Yi Zhuan. Investigating the na-ture of universe first is the tenet of it,Zhangzai philosophy is integrate closely in the inner theory systemthough there are many complicated relationship among some concepts and propositions. Ming have differentmeaning and references in a concrete context. What is more significant,it is of great importance to clarify therelationships among Ming and other conceptions like Xiang,Yi and Tao.Inaddition,it is constructive for thescholars to research the fundamental propositions,particularly the metaphysics of Zhangzai philosophy.
