English Ambivalent Attitude towards the Jews and its Economic Cause from the 11th-13th Century

11-13世纪,英国社会对待犹太人的态度是矛盾的:从最初的鼓励到1290年对犹太人的大驱逐,12世纪还经历了英国犹太人的"黄金时代"。本文以经济角度为切入点,认为犹太人被动性的经济地位和英国封建社会内部的经济变动是导致这一现象的主要原因。

From the 11 th century to the 13 th century,the attitude of English people towards Jews was am-bivalent：from the encouragement to the expulsion in 1290,also having the＂golden age＂during the 12 th centu-ry. This paper bases on economic aspect,considering that the passive economy status of Jews and the economicchanges of English feudal society are main causes of this attitude.
