随着我国现代科学技术的不断进步,各种高新信息技术被广泛应用于林业工作,其中最明显的表现就是"3S"技术在地区森林资源调查规划中发挥重要技术支持作用。本文将以河南省南阳市为例,首先阐述了河南省南阳市森林资源概况及"3S"技术的技术原理,以南阳市林业调查实践操作为基础详细分析"3S"技术在现代森林资源调查规划(如:森林资源、森林病虫害、森林火灾及资源清查和绘制专题图等)的技术特征与优势,旨在进一步推动"3S"技术能够更加广泛、成熟的服务于我国森林资源调查规划活动,提高我国森林资源调查规划活动的准确性、高效性。

With the improvement of modern science and technology,all kinds of high- tech information technology is widely used in forestry work and the most obvious manifestation is ＂3S＂technology which plays an important role in support of Forest Resources Investigation Plan. The particle takes Nanyang City of Henan Province as an example,it first introduces the principle in Nanyang City of Henan Province on the Forest Resources. Also it takes Nanyang City Forest Inventory as the instance,their technical principles of＂3S＂technology and detailed analysis of the practical operation of ＂3S＂technology in modern forest resources survey plan technical characteristics：（ such as forest resources,forest pests,forest fires and resource inventory and draw thematic maps,etc.） and benefits. To further promote the ＂3S＂technology and make it more extensive,sophisticated services in the planning activities of forest resources survey is used to improve the accuracy of our forest resources survey planning activities.
