A new automatic test system（ ATS） is designed to improve the test efficiency and precision of the signal processing performance of the passive phased-array radar. The working principle and main functions of the ATS are described with an emphasis on the solutions to the key technologies such as the software design and the hardware constitution. It is verified through actual applications that the ATS meets the test demands of multiple technical indexes,featuring good universality and high automation and intelligence.
