期待视野视角下的王尔德戏剧翻译研究——以The Importance of Being Earnest两个汉译本为例

戏剧的舞台性决定了观众在戏剧翻译中的重要地位。从接受美学理论下的期待视野角度出发,以英国剧作家Oscar Wilde的喜剧The Importance of Being Earnest的两个汉译本为例,从专有名词的翻译、文化负载词句的翻译以及绮丽体(Euphuism)的翻译三个方面,分析译本翻译策略的选择,从而总结出期待视野视角下的戏剧翻译原则,即译者在翻译时应遵循语言口语化、内容通俗易懂以及保持一定的审美距离的原则。

Theater stage determines the importance of the audience in translating drama.The paper analyzes the translation strategies selected by the translated version from the perspective of horizon expectation,taking for example the 2 Chinese versions of British playwright,OscarWilde’s comedy The Importance ofBeing Earnest in terms of 3 aspects such as the translation of proper nouns,the translation of culture -loaded words and the translation of Euphuism.It then summarizes the principles of drama translation from the perspective of horizon expectation,i.e.the translator should follow the principle of colloquial language,the principle of straightaway translating,and the principle of maintaining a certain aesthetic distance in translation.
