摘要 基于对军队院校研究生入学英语能力调查的结果,针对目前对军队院校非英语专业研究生英语教学的地位和目标存在的困惑,提出加强研究生英语教学符合研究生培养目标的要求,有利于提高和保持学员的语言能力。通过分析军队专业人才英语能力的需求,根据外语教学研究对不同学习环境下不同学习阶段各种语言技能之间关系的研究结果以及外语能力用进废退规律,指出在我国这样一个英语语境严重缺乏的环境中,应该优先提高研究生的英语读、写、译能力,以此促进其他技能的可持续发展。 On the basis of an investigation and analysis of the English proficiency of newly-enrolled graduate students in military academies, it is argued that moreemphasis on graduate English teaching and learning conforms to the overall aims of graduate education, and can help to improve the English proficiency of graduate students. Based on an analysis of the English skills expected of the technical personnel by the military and the research findings about the relationship between different language skills at different stages of language development in different learning environments, and the fact that language skills improve with use, it is pointed out that because of a severe lack of English language environment, priority should be given to improving the reading, writing and translation skills of graduate students so as to promote sustainable development of other language skills.
